There’s a clear blue sky that I see above the mountains
As I look up, away — finding this day
For me
A treasure in light
In dawn
In flight, soaring through
Growing into gratitude
For this time
Breath
Softness of heart
Stillness
Watching the shift
Life in all beings – the earth and sky
No need to question…this is mine now
We are all safe in our hearts
As we present softness yet steadfastness to the world
I honor my own strength
Compassion for myself
Fascination
Listening heart
Mist on the mountains
Beginning my day
Savoring the silence
Beginning of new life
With each breath
New

Receding

Notes of sweetness
I jump into the fire

As I grapple with the term “work” – what does it mean? I think about my dad, the last 10 years of his work life a struggle to survive, in a way, I think… Fighting for survival, while shining on to do his best as an educator.
Now I, too, can say I’m an Educator & lovin’ it. Teaching Yoga is my heart. Teaching is my soul.
But the money comes to me as an Administrator – “Project Manager.”
Is the money worth the heartache? Can I retire? Maybe
But I will not sacrifice my soul
